Johannesburg – The word "busy" does not even begin to describe Lupita Nyong’o’s life at the moment. Let’s start with the fact that the Broadway production, Eclipsed, in which she stars, just got nominated for a Tony award (read more on that story here).
Besides that, the actress is also part of the cast of Disney’s new The Jungle Book movie. But it turns out that this is not the only Disney movie Nyong’o is working on.
The actress posted a teaser on her Instagram account of a new movie she is set to star in, called Queen of Katwe.
The 15 second clip show’s flashing scenes of a village, and ends with Lupita’s character embracing a young girl and asking, "Are you my daughter?"
To which the girl replies, "Yes mom, I am."
Lupita describes the movie briefly, without giving too much away. "This movie is so close to my heart. It tells the story of Phiona Mutesi, who proves to us that daring to dream is worth it. I play her mother!"
