Ronan Farrow signs three-film deal with HBO to expose abuses of power

Cape Town - Ronan Farrow, whose New Yorker exposé into sexual misconduct in Hollywood helped bring down Harvey Weinstein, has been offered a three-film deal with HBO. 

Farrow, an investigative reporter, will use the platform to shine the spotlight on various abuses of power. 

According to The Hollywood Reporter the 30-year-old will work on his first project later this year and be involved in producing topical pieces for other HBO platforms. 

Farrow, the son of actress Mia Farrow and filmmaker Woody Allen, will stay on as a reporter at The New Yorker who agreed to publish his Weinstein piece after NBC News refused to.
