London – Chris Hemsworth, in a South African exclusive interview, revealed how he lost 15kg for his role in the American biographical adventure thriller, In The Heart of The Sea.
The Australian actor told Channel24’s Leandra Engelbrecht during a sit-down interview in London that the process of shedding the weight was “a lot of hard work”.
“I lost the weight over a period of four months. We all started on a normal diet and then reduced the calories until we were down to just 500 to 600 calories a day,” Hemsworth said.
He added: “I wouldn’t want to do it again. I didn’t even have to act exhausted, tired or emotional. It was exactly how I was feeling. It just fed right into it.”
