Cape Town – Seth Rogen's R-rated animated comedy, Sausage Party has received an 11-rating in Sweden, reports The Guardian.
Viewers as young as seven can watch the film when accompanied by an adult.
Sweden’s film rating programme judges the risk to a child’s well-being rather than whether or not it’s suitable for a specific age range.
The funny crude animation tells the story of a bunch of grocery items who discover that humans actually eat them with they leave the store.

In South Africa the film has received a 16 DLSV rating as it contains scenes of suggestive dialogue, strong language, sex scenes and violence.
Earlier this year we reported the trailer was shown before a screening of Finding Dory leaving parents in shock.
Sausage Party has been performing well at the US box office. Now in its second week of release the two week total is a staggering $65.3m.
The film releases in SA on Friday, 9 September.
