Cape Town – By now we know every actor who signs on for a Star Wars film is sworn to secrecy.
And no matter how much the press probe they never spill the beans.
In a recent interview with Oprah Winfrey for Variety's Actors on Actors series, Thandie Newton kept mum but did talk about her experience being cast and filming Han Solo.
On being cast for the role she said that it's the first time her 16-year-old daughter wanted to tell her friends about her mom's new movie.
While her role is still unknown she did reveal that it’s not a small part.
“I could have been in it for a brief little nothing, and I would have been thrilled and delighted. To be taken seriously, a woman of colour at 44 years old and be in a dope-ass franchise,” says Thandie.
