The 2016 Golden Globe nominees are...

Los Angeles - Just a few hours after the nominees for the 2016 Screen Actors Guild Awards were announced, The Golden Globe nominations were revealed.

The announcement was made via a live stream on GoldenGlobes.com by Angela Bassett, America Ferrera, Chloë Grace Moretz, Dennis Quaid, Miss Golden Globe Corinne Fox, HFPA president Lorenzo Soria, and Dick Clark Productions EVP Barry Adelman.

The second wave of nominees were announced on the Today Show immediately following.

The Golden Globe Awards are often seen as a precursor to the Academy Awards and will air 10 January with Ricky Gervais as host.
