The Fast 8 movie gets a new title

Cape Town – The eight instalment in the Fast and Furious franchise has a new title.

The Fate of the Furious was announced by Universal Pictures on Twitter.

Accompanied with the news was a 15 second teaser trailer of the much anticipated film.

In the clip there are scenes of an action pack snowmobile fight, an epic car race and quick flashes of the crew.

The star of the clip is new villain Cipher, Charlize Theron. 

The has previously revealed that Theron's character will try to lure Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) back into world of crime

The film releases in cinemas on 14 April 2017.
