Cape Town – Go, go power rangers!
If you grew up watching the popular TV show you're probably as excited as we are about the reboot of the five coloured, superhero teens.
Earlier we revealed details about the Power Rangers and the evil Rita Repulsa.
And now we finally have a first look at the film.
While the teaser trailer doesn't give much of the plot away it does give us a sneak peek into the rangers and how they come about getting the superpowers.
According to the official synopsis on the movie's website, the film follows five ordinary teens who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their town, Angel Grove is on the verge of being wiped out by an alien threat.
We meet the rangers Jason, The Red Ranger (Dacre Montgomery), Kimberly, the Pink Ranger (Naomi Scott), Billy, the Blue Ranger (R.J. Cyler), Trini, the Yellow Ranger (Becky G.) and Zack, the Black Ranger (Ludi Lin). From the looks of it they seem to be the unpopular kids, but that changes when they get their superpowers
