Cape Town – A highly acclaimed novel adaption takes the spotlight at cinemas this week.
Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander are as excellent as you’d expect them to be as they are called on to play some extremely complex, often highly unlikable characters in The Light Between Oceans.
But that’s not all, a diverse choice sees a local biopic, a German/Afrikaans classic, something dark and fantastical as well as a comedic true story to choose from at the local box office.

Short review: A new circle of hell was created when someone thought dubbing a German film with Afrikaans voiceover was a good idea. Especially when the film itself is actually a really inspiring and heart-warming tale like Heidi.
