Uma Thurman is coming for Harvey Weinstein

Cape Town – Earlier this month Uma Thurman’s response to sexual harassment within Hollywood went viral.

Access Hollywood asked the actress to weigh in on the sexual allegations against producer Harvey Weinstein

Thurman was the star of Kill Bill which was produced by Miramax, Weinstein’s former company.

In the video clip Thurman can be seen visiblily containing her anger.

She told the publication that she thought is was commendable that actors were finally speaking out.

"I don't have a tidy soundbite for you, because I've learned— I am not a child — and I've learned that when I've spoken in anger I usually regret the way I express myself. So I've been waiting to feel less angry, and when I'm ready, I'll say what I have to say."

On Thursday Thurman broke her silence on the Weinstein scandal.

Alongside a picture of her character in Kill Bill she wrote: “Happy Thanksgiving. I am grateful today, to be alive, for all those I love, and for all those who have the courage to stand up for others.

"I said I was angry recently, and I have a few reasons, #metoo, in case you couldn’t tell by the look on my face.

"I feel it’s important to take your time, be fair, be exact, so... Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! (Except you Harvey, and all your wicked conspirators - I’m glad it’s going slowly - you don’t deserve a bullet) -stay tuned."

The still comes from the film Kill Bill Volume 2 with her character the Bride on her way to get her revenge.
