Cape Town – In case you missed it another 'feud' has broken out among the Fast and the Furious family.
Earlier this weekChannel24 Movies reported that Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham will star in a spin-off scheduled for release in 2019.
The news came a day after Universal Pictures announced that they are pushing back the ninth instalment of the franchise to 2020. (Read more here)
Tyrese Gibson who plays Roman in the franchise has accused Johnson for 'breaking up the family' and called him a clown for accepting the spin-off. (Read more here)
Johnson has not responded to any of Gibson's rants but instead tweeted that he is excited about elevating the franchise.
My goal from day 1 was to come in and create an exciting/fun character for the fans, elevate the franchise and build it out. #HobbsShaw2019 https://t.co/IJcdQTHSi3

And now Vin Diesel has taken to Instagram to have his say.
Alongside a picture of himself and Johnson he wrote: "I know there has been a lot of speculation as to why the Fast 9 release date was pushed... but it would be unfair to say it is anyone's fault. As we plot the course to expand the Fast & Furious universe, one must be mindful to take stock of the roads we took to get here." (sic)
