Cape Town – It’s a new year with a ton of great movies scheduled for release.
We’ve rounded up some of the latest trailers that you might have missed.
1. Beirut
A US diplomat (Jonn Hamm) flees Lebanon in 1972 after a tragic incident at his home. Ten years later, he is called back to war-torn Beirut by CIA operatives (Rosalind Pike) to negotiate for the life of a friend he left behind.

2. Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far on Foot
After Portland slacker John Callahan (Joaquin Phoenix) nearly loses his life in a car accident, the last thing he intends to do is give up drinking. But when he reluctantly enters treatment – with encouragement from his girlfriend (Rooney Mara) and a charismatic sponsor (Jonah Hill) – Callahan discovers a gift for drawing edgy, irreverent newspaper cartoons that develop a national following and grant him a new lease on life.

3. Show Dogs
A family comedy about the unlikely pairing of a human detective (Will Arnett) and his canine partner (voice of Chris "Ludacris" Bridges), who has to go undercover at the world's most exclusive dog show to solve his biggest case yet.

4. Summer of ‘84
Summer, 1984: The perfect time to be 15 years old and free. But when neighbourhood conspiracy theorist Davey Armstrong begins to suspect his police officer neighbour might be the serial killer all over the local news, he and his three best friends begin an investigation that soon turns dangerous.

5. Tomb Raider
The latest trailer for Tomb Raider has just be released. Lara Croft (Alicia Vikander) is the fiercely independent daughter of an eccentric adventurer who vanished when she was scarcely a teen. Leaving everything she knows behind, Lara goes in search of her dad’s last-known destination: A fabled tomb on a mythical island that might be somewhere off the coast of Japan.
