Cape Town - The brilliant local film Dis Koue Kos, Skat opened in South African cinemas on Friday.
Based on the book by renowned Afrikaans author, Marita van der Vyver, the film centres on the trials and tribulations of divorce.
When Clara Brand (Anna-Mart van der Merwe) discovers that her husband, Bernard, is cheating on her with her friend and colleague, Anais, things take a turn for the worse.
Caught between a collapsing marriage, a ruined friendship and being a mother to her two children, Clara moves her family from Johannesburg to Cape Town in an attempt to start afresh.
Dis Koue Kos, Skat shines thanks to its attention to detail, mouth-watering dishes, beautiful cinematography, A-list cast and world-class direction. It truly is a feast for the eyes in every sense of the word.
Anna-Mart and Marita took some time from their busy schedules to talk to Channel24 about the film and shared some secrets from behind-the-scenes.
