Cape Town – While you wait for The Last Jedi here's a Star Wars animated short to keep you company.
Disney announced the first in a series of short stories called Star Wars: Forces of Destiny on Monday.
The series will focus on the saga's heroines through short stories within the Star Wars universe.
In Sands of Jakku, Daisy Ridley returns as Rey also in the clip is Lupita Nyong'o, who plays Maz Kanata.
The short follows what happens to Rey after she met BB-8.
