WATCH: Get to know the Dora Milaje in Black Panther

Cape Town – We’ve seen the bald, bad ass woman warriors in the Black Panther trailer. 

And now a new featurette released by Marvel gives us insight into the warriors of Wakanda. 

The clip features Danai Gurira who plays Okoye the general of the armed forces and Lupita Nyong'o who plays Nakia an undercover operative of the Dora Milaje.

“Okuye represents the old guard and tradition while my character Nakia challenges tradition. Nakia was born to be a warrior, she was born with a warrior spirit,” says Nyong'o.

Speaking about training for the film Gurira says it was very interesting as they learned that the Dora Milaje moved and fought as one.
