Cape Town – In his first post Wolverine role, Hugh Jackman returns to his musical roots.
In The Greatest Showman Jackman plays the showman P. T. Barnum.
The musical celebrates the birth of show business and tells of a visionary who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide sensation.
The trailer set to Keala Settle (Lettie Lutz) singing This Is Me follows Barnum who loses his job and comes up with an idea to put on a show. He then goes on to recruit acts for his show.
One of them is a reluctant Phillip Carlyle (Zac Efron) whom he convinces to run away and join the show business.
The film also stars: Michelle Williams who plays Barnum's wife Charity Barnum and Zendaya who by the looks of it is an acrobat.
