Cape Town – What would you do if your life depended on a complete stranger?
That's what Idris Elba and Kate Winslet's characters will have to do in the new film The Mountain Between Us.
Stranded after a tragic plane crash, two strangers Alex (Winslet) and Ben (Elba) must forge a connection to survive the extreme elements of a remote snow covered mountain.
When they realise help is not coming, they embark on a terrifying journey across hundreds of miles of wilderness.
The quest will take all the stamina and psychological strength the two can summon as they push each other to endure the extreme elements.
