Cape Town – The trailer for Jake Gyllenhaal's Boston Marathon bombing movie has been released and it's an emotional rollercoaster.
While Patriot's Day focused on the aftermath of the attack Stronger takes a more personal look into the life of survivor Jeff Bauman.
Gyllenhaal stars as Bauman, a spectator who was waiting for his girlfriend Erin Hurley (Tatiana Maslany) to cross the finish line.
He lost both his legs in the attack and helped police identify brothers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev as the attackers.
The film based on Bauman's memoir follows his recovery and life after the attack.
