WATCH: Meryl Streep pretends to be a horrible opera singer for her latest film

Cape Town – When it comes to acting Meryl Streep can practically do anything and be perfect at it, even sing off key, perfectly.

The Oscar winning actress stars in the Stephen Fry comedy biopic, Florence Foster Jenkins.

She plays a New York heiress turned amateur opera singer known for her terrible singing skills.

Hugh Grant stars as her husband and manager, St. Clair Bayfield, who is determined to keep her from finding out just how bad her signing is.

But then Florence decided to have a concert at Carnegie Hall in 1944…

You won't hear Meryl singing in the trailer though, but like her character says in the trailer we're sure "ít will seem perfect".
