San Diego - Warner Bros has unveiled never-before-seen footage from their superhero all-star film Justice League, and much to the surprise of Comic-Con audiences on Saturday, it is chock full of humour.
The footage highlights Bruce Wayne's recruitment of what will be the Justice League team, including The Flash (Ezra Miller), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and Aquaman (Jason Momoa). Ben Affleck, who plays Bruce Wayne/Batman, hyped the film with his fellow cast mates, including Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot and Superman actor Henry Cavill.
The lighter touch is likely a direct response to the widespread criticism of the self-seriousness of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which got this new interconnected universe off to a precarious start earlier this year.
