Cape Town – Natalie Portman's portrayal of former US first lady Jackie Kennedy has sparked talk of an Oscar win for the actress.
The biopic, Jackie focuses on the aftermath of the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy and the First Lady's resilience after the tragedy.
In a video posted by Vanity Fair the actress talks in depth about how she prepared to transform herself into Jackie.
She describes Jacqueline as being remembered as America's queen.
A huge part in helping her get into character was the makeup and costume.
To learn her accent and mannerisms Natalie watched and studied the White House Tour obsessively.
