Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience

2009-03-16 08:29
What's it about?

In this concert film, you follow the Jonas Brothers as they cross the country on their "Burning Up Tour". The film was filmed in Disney Digital 3-D and will only be shown in Digital 3D. Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift guest star and perform a song with the band.

You will see backstage adventures with the Jonas Brothers, and you'll follow them as they prepare for the tour. A new song by the Jonas Brothers will premiere in the film as well. This was filmed July 12 and 13 in Anaheim, California at the Honda Center, and August 10 and 11 in New York City, New York in Madison Square Garden.

Here's what the critics had to say:

"Boy bands serve multiple functions for their audiences. They entertain, they sing the poetry of love, they offer a spectrum of masculine attributes. On the first two counts, the Jonas Brothers movie leaves something to be desired."
- Carrie Rickey, Philadelphia Inquirer

"Applying criticism to Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience is like trying to lasso a bull with dental floss. It's not going to stop the bull and no one's really going to notice."
- Ty Burr, Boston Globe

"It's no mystery that the target audience for this G-rated bubblegum fantasy is tweens, parents of tweens and the occasional pervert. They'll be so pleased. Anything for the rest of humanity? Not so much."
 - Peter Travers, Rolling Stone

"Love them or loathe them, it's the Jonas Brothers' moment -- you might as well enjoy it."
- Jason Anderson, Toronto Star

A 3-D concert film of the 2008 Jonas Brothers "Burning Up" concert tour, as well as documentary footage on the lives of the three brothers.

Just another typical Tom Cruise action film, with nothing to get too excited about. The film is loaded with action-film stereotypes and cheesy one-liners. Read More »

Hands of Stone

Hands of Stone is a bland, unlikable portrayal of a real-life boxer that struggles to hit the highs of Rocky IV let alone Raging Bull or the original Rocky. Mark this one down as “for boxing fanatics only”. Read More »
