What it's about:
Thomas and his fellow Gladers face their greatest challenge yet: searching for clues about the mysterious and powerful organisation known as WCKD. Their journey takes them to the Scorch, a desolate landscape filled with unimaginable obstacles. Teaming up with resistance fighters, the Gladers take on WCKD’s vastly superior forces and uncover its shocking plans for them all.

Wow! Maze Runner: Scorch Trials brings more adventure, loads of action and nail biting suspense.
The next chapter of the thrilling Maze Runner saga will have you sitting on the edge of your seat from the start to finish. It’s official; the maze has nothing on the scorch!
Thomas is back and his will to survive and the curious mind we’ve come to know and love is even stronger!
Along with new faces and some old ones WCKD doesn’t stand a chance against this A-team, but don’t get too excited because the plot twists in this chapter will drop out of nowhere and make even you feel betrayed!
Dylan O’Brien nails his role as Thomas. He was good in the first chapter, but I feel as though he has now come into his own and is more comfortable with his character.
The team behind him, although smaller, is stronger than ever. We also get to see more of them as individual characters and not just part of the lost boys we met when Thomas was in the maze.
Again the cinematography and sound of this film were absolutely spot-on at convincing the viewer that disease pretty much destroyed everything, leaving the Gladers stuck in a desolated playground fighting for survival.
With new hideous “creatures” that even WCKD have no control over, I found myself covering my eyes more than once.
New faces to the film include Giancarlo Esposito (Jorge) and his sidekick Rosa Salazar (Brenda), although you won’t like them at first this dynamic duo will crawl into your heart – yes there are sentimental parts too.
Finally figuring out what WCKD has in store for their fate, will Thomas and the rest of the Gladers beat WCKD once and for all or is it time to give up?
Like the first, the thrill and suspense of Scorch Trails will leave you longing for the next chapter!
