Disney's latest film puts "the little pink guy" centre stage as the gang from Hundred Acre Wood learns that it doesn't take somebody big to do big things.
When Winne the Pooh and the rest of the gang begin a honey harvest, little Piglet is excluded and told that he is too small to help. Feeling inferior, Piglet disappears and his pals Eeyore, Rabbit, Tigger, Roo and Pooh must use Piglet's "Book of Memories" as a map to find him. In the process they realise that Piglet, though he is a very small animal, has been a big hero in a lot of ways.
Piglet's Big Movie is Disney's fourth adaptation of A.A. Milne's much-loved short stories. The film also features a light-hearted soundtrack by Carly Simon, as well as several songs from earlier "Pooh" movies.
"Piglet, the gosh-darned cute sidekick of Winnie the Pooh, manages to carry this warm and fuzzy animated feature on his wee shoulders."- Megan Lehmann, New York Post
"Piglet's Big Movie doesn't pretend to be one of Disney's most lush animated films, but the original songs by Carly Simon give the simplistic storytelling an invigorating boost."- Kit Bowen, Hollywood.com
"...there's no story here, just a progression of too-cute adventures told in a complicated flashback structure that probably will bore and confuse the preschool target audience... A.A. Milne's gentle, childlike whimsy has been turned into something heavy-handed, gooey, infantile and rather sickening."- Jim Lane, Sacramento News & Review

Hands of Stone is a bland, unlikable portrayal of a real-life boxer that struggles to hit the highs of Rocky IV let alone Raging Bull or the original Rocky. Mark this one down as “for boxing fanatics only”. Read More »
