What it's about

Based on the bestseller by Noel Botham, The Murder of Princess Diana is a fictional account of the events leading up to the tragic car accident in which Princess Diana, her companion Dodi Fayed and their chauffeur were killed. Seen through the eyes of an American reporter who works for a British newspaper, Rachel (Jennifer Morrison) finds herself at the Ritz in Paris, where Diana and Dodi al-Fayed are spending their last days.

What the critics say

"Though it would be stating the obvious to say that the crash of Diana’s Mercedes-Benz in the Pont de l’Alma tunnel on Aug. 31, 1997, is not the only car wreck we’re talking about here." - Mike Hale, The New York Times

"Director John Strickland and lenser Daf Hobson make the most of the script, visually milking the intended paranoia with handheld camera work and clever third-eye angles. Shot on location, in Paris and Luxembourg, the film is at least a visual success." - Laura Fries, Variety

"It's just as bad as you think it would be and perhaps a little worse... The most famous woman in the world is left to the hands of biographers like Tina Brown, cannibalizing the very image she helped create, and movies like this one. Something's not right. It's just all wrong. It's time to let the princess go. I just feel it." - Mary McNamara, The Los Angeles Times

"If you're among the many who have enjoyed seeing Jennifer Morrison play intern Allison Cameron on "House," then do not -- repeat: do not -- waste your time watching her play a puddinghead reporter in this cheap and sensational film." - Barry Garron, The Hollywood Reporter

Rest peacefully Diana Why must people take the tragedies of others to try and make some money? I have no interest to see the movie. She should be left in peace for her sake and that of her children.

NO!! NO!! We should never let her go!!

Lady Di yes and no we want to know if it was murder or not if it was who to blame Lady Di was the greates of them all, and love by 98% of people

Princess Diana Please, please leave her in peace. Her family don't need to be reminded daily of her tragic death. They all, and the general public have memories of her. LEAVE HER ALONE

In order to rest peacefully.... Yes I agree. Princess Diana should be permitted to rest in peace. HOWEVER, this will only be done when her murderer/s are exposed. So much is "hidden" from the public eye due to the "power" of the Royal Family. The truth always prospers in the end.

Dumbass! Nicola, you should go live in the USA where most of all the world's the conspiracy theorists live. Driving at excessive speed through a tunnel with no intent is not murder. The only person to survive was the only one wearing his seat belt. Stupidity is what killed Lady Di. !!!
Cobus 2007/08/31 9:36 AM
The truth MUST be told. . . . . Why should Ladi Di's murderer's get away with it just because they are royal . . . . . . They damn well knew that there would have been but only ONE PRINCESS OF WALES . . . . and she was in the way !!

DIANA, THE PRINCESS She was one of the most influential women of all time, she died tragically, maybe the old saying "she was too good for this planet!!" applies. She will always be remembered and loved. Speculation will always exist, the facts as we are led to believe will not change. Let her soul rest in peace. The world will always love her, its time to leave the "rumours" the only people who need to dig are her two sons, if they want to "dig" its upto them and no-one else. Rest in Peace Diana, you will always be loved and respected.

Let Princess Diana rest in peace Please let her rest in peace, because everything in life happens for a reason. When Princess Di was born the way that she should die was already known by God. God allow Princess Di die in such a horrific accident, what can we do about it? What happened, happened. May her sould rest in peace

Let Her Go She is still being hounded by those accused of killing her in the first place. They therfore still have a good story. If we are no longer interested, the press have no more motivation to keep on printing anything about her. Let her go.

PRINCESS D NO MATTER WHAT DO YOU THINK OF HER SHE IS STILL THE PRINCESS. YES THE TRUTH HAS TO COME OUT BUT STILL THE TRUTH NOT LIES. SHE NEVER DISERVE TO DIE LIKE THAT. EVEN IF SHE HAD DONE WRONG TO OTHER PEOPLE ONLY GOD CAND JUDGE HER NO BODY ELSE. REST IN PEACE WHERE EVER YOU ARE PRINCES.

Consider her children All things said and done.. it is 10 yrs down the line and her children need to move on now. It is very difficult for them to do that if the press etc keep on digging and publishing.... respect her and the way she loved her boys and allow them to move on, IN PEACE !!
