What we thought:
This is a very easy listening album. The tracks are very innocent and are perfect for teen pop fans.
One negative is that the sound is not very different from any other pop singer trending at the moment, which could be his downfall, but hey, it’s worth a try.
Best track:
There is no track that stands out from the other, but they’re also overall not that bad. Definitely a neutral feeling on this one.
Worst track:
What About Love takes the top of the list, mainly because it’s the most ‘boyband’ sounding track from all the others.
Sounds like:
The sound of this CD is like a buffet table. Think Locnville meets Justin Bieber meets Backstreet Boys meets an attempted rave party. If you’re into that kind of thing then you’ll love this album, it is however much of a muchness which seems to be trending between loli-pop teens. Austin does however have a great voice, for easy listening and seeing as he has just turned 18, this kind of thing works out for him! Mahone started out like many by generating a large following on YouTube and took it from there. Let’s just hope he doesn’t end up like ol’ Justin Bieber!
