DJ Costa - Bump 16

The latest Bump CD is a double disc full of fun and has all the essential dance floor beats mixed by DJ Costa. His name has become a brand name when it comes to club music, soits no surprise that these albums are always bumping their way to the top of the charts.

On Disc one "Galvanize", by the Chemical Brothers, sets the tone. Once again, the album includes some exclusive content and mixes. Singles to look out for are Max Graham vs. Yes - "Owner Of A Lonely Heart". DJ Antoine's groovy "Back & Forth" was remixed by the legendary Stonebridge, top ten hit producer of Robin S. These exclusive tracks will not be cleared for inclusion on any other compilation six months.

Other sizzling tracks on the album are Vinylshakers' essential remix of the 80s classic "One Night In Bangkok" - its already doing wonders at club levels. And then there's Ice Cube featuring Mack 10 and Ms Toi - "You Can Do It" [Friday Night Posse Remix].

Acardipane vs Balloon's "Whoopie Whoopie" - better known as "The Speedy Gonzalez Song" - is less delightful (think back to some recent Telkom TV ads). Unless you're a teeny bopper, the song does become irritating after a while. What makes it worse is that you'll find yourself singing the tune all day after listening to it only once.

Disc Two kicks off with Sean Gallery's "24 (The Longest Day)". Another Bump 16 exclusive is Gadjo's massive house favourite "So Many Times" [Heller and Enkie's Club Mix] featuring Alexandra Prince. This massive single has been hailed as one of the worlds biggest house anthems.

Other favourites on the second disc are Paffendorf's "On & On", Tweetwoof's "Meet Her At The Love Parade 2005" and Scooter's "One (Always Hardcore) " Club mix.

DJ Dean ends this great album with "Ballanation No. 4", a strong, danceable closing track.
