Monrose - Strictly Physical

Monrose are sugar-coated bubble-gum pop glamour-girls whose ear candy will make your teeth hurt. Almost every track on the album makes use of the pop formula of nonsensical repetition of one syllable words.

Okay, so some of the music is bearable, maybe even a little likable, but the moment these three roses start singing, it falls flat on its dolled-up face. Strictly Physical and non-verbal is what they should have kept it on this album. Groups like this make you wonder whether talent is actually needed to get a record deal these days. Yes, "Everybody Makes Mistakes" but this review advises unsuspecting CD buyers not to.

- Natalie Sineke De Freitas

There’s nothing rosy about these three sex-obsessed pop kittens whose name reminds you of what Andre 3000 might have meant when when he said "roses really smell like…".
