The Portland, Oregon, USA ensemble’s album looks attractively gay (in both senses) and alternative with its card cover and tongue in cheek faded photo. The contents, however, are disappointing – just a whole lot of well produced rehashes of vintage Hollywood show tunes sung competently.

These guys must be really fun live (even more fun if you got to see them, say, in a beerhall in the Czech Republic, or at a smoky club in Beijing instead of America.) But otherwise, what’s the point of this flatulent nonsense – unless you’re a retro-90s-cool DJ planning to spice it up a bit. Or you own a shop.
