Do you remember that crazy white guy on the bicycle who seduced the ladies with "When I get you alone" back in 2000? Well fast forward to 2010, add a model wife, newborn baby boy, a new stylist and new look and you have one of the sexiest soul brothers in the music biz. Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to reintroduce to you Robin Thicke .
Despite penning hits for chart-topping artists including Christina Aguilera, Mya, Brandy, Marc Anthony, and Jordan Knight , as a solo artist in his own right Robin Thicke just doesn't get enough credit. Often dubbed by critics as Justin Timberlake's enemy, his soulful urban pop sound is as smooth as his suave looks.
But enough of his biography. Sex Therapy: the experience is an addictive set of what soul legend Marvin Gaye would've called "sexual healing". The opening track "911" is a hypnotically smooth boast about a subject Robin seems to know a lot about: girls and sex. Unlike JT who sometimes talks the talk, RT sounds like he can walk the walk. Yes ladies, he is that good.
The seduction isn't all between the sheets either. Songs like "2 Luv Birds", "Mona Lisa" and "Brand New Luv" all show that Thicke is not known as a romantic "blue-eyed soul" balladeer for nothing. The collaborations are A-list too. Not that he needs them, but Estelle shakes up “Rollercosta” while “Meiple” with Jay-Z is a dose of naughty sexy fun.
