You've got to hand it to the B-52s: Nobody sounds quite like them. However every single song on this 11-track comeback album sounds pretty much the same as their (date) smash hit, "Love Shack" - that's still where it's at.
Which is? Energetic sublimating of quickie sex. Lyrics that say "let's fuck" without actually using those words. Imagine the script of a porn movie written by reborn Christian aerobics instructors, and baby you got it.
Is everybody moving, is everybody grooving? Well put it this way, Funplex is the perfect title for this collection of identical songs, neatly arranged, like duplexes in a gated commuinity.
