Who are the Black Handed Kites?

Their sound is as big as the cloud of mystery surrounding them.

boom.fm first caught a whiff of these cats a couple of months ago - two musicians in a dark studio, an iPhone taped to a mic stand and a single called Up which resulted in one of the most epic, yet humble, YouTube videos we have seen in a long time.

After making a few phone calls, doing some digging, hiring a lyrics analyst, a linguist and some hardcore listening marathons, we finally discovered that they come from a small town called:

Awesome.

We immediately popped over next-door and met with them in that very studio.  We are now working together with them on a cool project, which will reveal itself this summer.

Who are these Black Handed Kites? In their own words, "Two passionate musos taking music by the horns and being real for a change. No hassle, straight forward music to love and listen to."
