I am still trying to find this 'locked gate'

Ok I was on the park and ride and I am still trying to find out where this locked gate was? When we got to the venue that afternoon we walked the path to the stadium, when we left we walked the same path back? There was no gate? So either this gate mysteriously appeared or people didn’t follow the same route back to the buses?

As for the experience, it was amazing! We got there about 3.30pm, went to the beer tent outside the stadium had a drink and something to eat. We then ventured off to find our entrance, we got confused BUT two young guys with shirts that said “Can I help you” showed us where to go.

We went to the General Standing  gate and there was another gent with the same shirt who showed us where to go. We all sat and waited to go in, got our armbands and when we did we went off to the turnstiles. The scanners were not working BUT that is a Stadium issue not a Big Concerts issue.

We got in with the help of the stadium staff, and they were helpful. Once we asked the staff where to go for general standing and they showed us exactly where to go.

Once we got to the area, we found our spot and two friends went to go get a supply of refreshments. That is where we stayed the whole evening. When it was encore time, we moved to the back of the area and watched till the end. Within 10 minutes we were out the stadium and on a bus, the bus left about 10 minutes after us getting on. I was home within an hour thereafter.

So all in all we had an amazing experience. Die Antwoord rocked the stage and I am not even a big fan! Then RHCP came on and they were AMAZING! The sound was clear and we could all sing and dance and jump and scream! I waited a long time to see them and it was worth it!!

The only issue I did have was the amount of dagga that was being smoked. The band members do not drink or take drugs, people around you most likely don’t all take drugs. The lack of respect in that regard from the people attending was shocking. People were complaining that Die Antwoords language wasn’t fit for children, but the amount of narcotics your child inhaled is fine?
