Rebecca Black's Friday spawns spoofs

2011-03-23 17:42
After Rebecca Black’s cringe-worthy tweeny-pop disaster Friday went viral on Youtube last week, it inevitably spawned a flurry of ridiculous covers, remixes and spoofs.

Some are hilarious, others even more embarrassing than the original – but evidently people couldn’t get enough of ripping on the chronically indecisive wannabe pop star serenading ‘fried-eggs’ and learning about the days of the week.

Here are some of the most bizarre, uproarious parodies we could get our meme-loving paws on. Fun fun fun!

These two boys do an excellent job of mimicking Rebecca’s talking-style of singing and while they seem to know which seat to take they get kind of confused when it comes to distinguishing between left and  right.

Kyle Cease is seemingly the only person gittin down on Wednesday...

This has to be the weirdest 'cover' of them all. I think Cate Blanchett is behind this.

Even Bill Murray can’t escape the incessant virus that is Friday. He shows us how to deal.

This guy does a literal enactment of the lyrics “Gotta have my bowl”.  I like how his facial expression looks so sincere throughout.

One of the top spoofs so far. In this one Rebecca’s friends get some voice time! Hell yeah your hand is a dolphin!

This mash-up video sees the unlikely pairing of Ice Cube and Miss Black. For those who don't get it - the movie is actually called Friday.
