Shame on you, Big Concerts

I thought I was dreaming when I saw a twitter feed from Big concerts saying that they will give fans an opportunity to meet Justin Bieber…all this merely for a Diamond VIP ticket…

I thought, cool, can’t be that bad, good for the fans, I hope the teeny boppers get their money’s worth, I was expecting something in the region of R2000-2500.00

This in my view would have been an acceptable amount, seeing that I myself am u huge music fan and have paid obscene amounts of money to see my fave artists.

But then the shock…over 6k, WTF!!!!!

Has Big Concerts gone bonkers? Have they lost their marbles? Have they forgotten that the majority of the tickets sold were for teens who would never have access to these kinds of funds???

Apparently not…

This boys and girls was bound to happen.

They have had a steady influx of major acts and have now realised just how starved SA has been for these type of big name shows.

So what's better than capitalising on it and ripping people off even more… gumph, if R60 for a draught and 340ml redds was not enough of a slap in the face.

If I was sitting at the top looking down at the comments and social media at this moment, I would hang my head in shame.

Shame on you Big Concerts, for real.

This is not the way we do business in South Africa.
