Watch: Bruno Mars' When I Was Your Man

Bruno Mars has released a video for his single When I Was Your Man off the album Unorthodox Jukebox.

Unorthodox Juxebox is Bruno Mars' second album and once again sees him melding a multitude of musical approaches to create his owndistinctive sound.

Bruno Mars has sold over 5 million albums and over 45 million singles worldwide and has been hailed as one of contemporary pop's most gifted and compelling new artists.

No specific genre

Released in October 2010, Doo-Wops & Hooligans has been certified with Platinum 39 times worldwide and was greeted with both popular success and critical acclaim from all corners of the globe.

In an interview with Rolling Stones, Mars said that he didn't allow himself to get boxed in to any specific genre while recording his newest album.

"I've had big record label presidents look me in the face and say, 'Your music sucks, you don't know who you are, your music is all over the place, and we don't know how to market this stuff. Pick a lane and come back to us,'" he told Rolling Stone. "That was disgusting to me, because I'm not trying to be a circus act.

"I listen to a lot of music and I want to have the freedom and luxury to walk into a studio and say, 'Today I want to do a hip-hop, R&B, soul or rock record'."

Unorthodox Jukebox
, which was released on 11 December 2012, received rave reviews from critics. Rolling Stone said it's "a record that makes the competition sound sad and idea-starved by comparison", and named Mars a "master song-crafter".
