Check out our PICTURE GALLERY of the smoking hot action

Flat Stanley get a good spot opening on two of the dates. Their cool, calm and collected offerings will glide the crowd gently into the day. Karen Zoid in Joburg is also a good bet for second up.

A change of strategy in Durban as veteran Dave Birch and Squeal will look to start things off much more loudly, while the lesser-known Seven Stone, Sitter and State Far Better follow up.

But some bizarre stirrings are afoot. Durban sees an odd trade between Prime Circle and The Finkelstiens, the former strangely promoted to a later slot in Cape Town, of all places. The resulting shake-up is the early timeslot given to Fokofpoliesiekar in their native Cape Town. At the very least, one would have expected them and Prime Circle to trade places.

Overall, Seether are the big winners here… the sundowner slot is always the pick of the major fests, and Cape Town loves it's homeboys.

As for the dance stages, it's a pro setup… and, in accordance with the standards at most major festivals, fans are going to find themselves having to choose between Fatboy Slim and Metallica. Not to worry, though. Somehow, we feel that the crowd will work itself out.

There will be some additional attractions.

Massive Mix Show of Hands.
Concert goers will be able to show their support of Coca-Cola's music related charitable causes by placing their handprint on numerous Show of Hands banners around the stadium.

Massive Mix helicopter.
This does not involve any direct interaction but is designed to enhance the experience and add a wow factor to the concerts as fans look above and see a massively branded helicopter looping around the skies over the stadium.

The Coca-Cola Mist Tunnel.
Consumers will be cooled down on a hot rock festival day by refreshing Coca-Cola and the Coca-Cola mist tunnel. This will be placed on the field where all fans can chill and refresh.

The Coca-Cola Colab Massive Mix CHILL TENT will be available to concert goers, who would like to take a breather and chill out on a bean bag and sip an ice cold Coca-Cola.
