Q and A with QB
QBert has led an impressive life. He was taught the basics of turntabalism by Beastie Boys’ Mix Master Mike. He was a DJ for the Rock Steady Crew. He’s won the World DMC four times and belongs to the DMC Hall of Fame. And he’s one of the founding members of deck demons, the Invisibl Skratch Piklz. Basically, as far as real-school hip hop goes, this guy is really, really important.

Listen to him rap about his life, the birth of scratching and vinyl vs. digital. Watch the video.
