Sure, we ripped him off a bit, but that hasn't made his hypnotic songwriting any less popular with a growing cult audience in South Africa, who queued for hours and pulled as many strings as they could find to try get a seat on the floor when Gonzalez put in VIP-only performances in SA last year.

Luckily for those who couldn't get in and for those who want to get in again, he's doing two gig in medium sized venues this week.
