Armed with a classic black suit and the voice of a God, Michael captivated the crowd with finger clicking renditions of standards such as "Fever", "Me and Mrs. Jones" and "I’m Your Man". His tender cover of Elvis Presley’s "Always on My Mind" was unbearably beautiful. So what if he closed his eyes? A dash of melodrama never hurt anyone.

Later he had the crowd in a tizzy with show stopping hits including "Feeling Good", his self-penned "Home" and "Lost". His set had a good mix of favourites from his old and new albums, satisfying the needs of every fan.
His unwavering confidence and charm is something the 31-year-old Canadian native is revered for, and rightfully so. He manages to balance on that fine line of self-assurance and arrogance and sets it off with a hint of wit and some goofball humour.

While my music editor thinks he went a tad overboard with all his Rat Pack clowning around and banter, I think every woman in the audience would strongly disagree. There are few things sexier in this world than a funny guy in a black suit whose voice will bring you to your knees. I don’t think he gets it.
