Vibes: Sun, river and daytime drinking
It’s not just about the music. It’s also about swimming in the beautiful river, staring at the stars, earning your hangovers and surviving the next morning. Think of it as being a hippie for a weekend, except without the hair or the cheap drugs. Plus, some shots of fans braaiing with Taxi Violence.

Friday Night’s Bands and the Party
Parlotones, Stealing Love Jones, Wonderboom and more. This was a killer line-up, and it’s only the first night of the fest. The announcer kept saying “pace yourselves". The crowd kept saying “faster!"

Perez surprised us with an amazing performance – they’re back. Valiant Swart did the sundowner set. DNA strings charmed folk fans. Taxi Violence tore up the night with a fiery performance featuring instrument swaps, pyrotechnics, a guy in a dress playing an angle grinder and of course, amazing music. Van Coke Kartel closed. The crowd had their hands in the air all along

Sunday Morning
An egg or two, a cup of coffee, a quick dose of comedy from Corne & Twakkie, some chamber pop pretty little miseries from Harris Tweed and we're away. Off home to bath. And bath. And bath...
