Video: The Idols on Idols

So Sasha-Lee's won the big prize. But what's behind it all - friendly competition or killer instincts? We interviewed the Idols finalists, Sasha-Lee Davids and Jason Hartman in Cape Town just before the final countdown hit Zero.

And what did they say? Well our Idols are so well trained to handle media attention by now, that they’re pros at putting their best face forward. You have to read between the lines to get a glimpse of what they’re really feeling - and I think you will. The two are very close. But as they say, everyone should keep their enemies closest...

We chatted about future plans, judges, fallen Idols and their bad habits.  Jason said he was "quite blunt" at times, then asked we keep this and any other "vice" anyone mentioned off the record, but Sasha-Lee seems to have a bad habit of blurting things out and was happy to dish on Jason. Let’s hope her somewhat mercenary approach makes for juicy gossip post-Idols.
