Heroes star goes pop
Not content with ruling the small screen as cheerleader Claire Bennet on the hit show Heroes, Hayden Panettiere is poised to set the pop charts alight, or at least make it flicker for a bit, reports Bang Showbiz. Hayden, 18, says her debut album is “a little bit eclectic” and features unique songs which reflect the story of her life. “There are very different, very diverse songs on the album. I just wanted to make sure that the music didn't all sound the same,” says the actress. Meanwhile, the video for her debut single “Wake Up Call” has leaked online and the comparisons with fellow blonde babes Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and Hillary Duff have inevitably followed. On the evidence of Hayden’s effort, however, Paris is starting to look like the saviour of pop after all.
