Pete Wentz wants a family with Ashlee Simpson
The Fall Out Boy bassist and former wild child is ready to put his partying behind him and settle down. Pete said: "I picture myself having a family now. Before, my dreams were about being in a huge band. Now, my dreams are of back yards and hanging out. It's a progression for me, trying to figure out what's normal."

The 22-year-old - who has battled depression and prescription drugs - is rumoured to be engaged to Ashlee, also 22, and says he now has a reason to live. He confessed: "I can barely remember those years. I was taking prescription medication; I was a drugstore cowboy, mixing this with this, seeing what the combinations did. I couldn't picture myself in two years. People would ask, 'What are you going to do on the next record?' And I'd say, 'Dude, I can't even see myself being alive'. "Honestly, I used to wake up and want to blow my head off. I thank God I got through it, and came out of the other side." U2 guitarist The Edge is proud of his penis
U2 rocker The Edge wasn't jealous when his bandmate Adam Clayton was chosen to show his member for the cover of 'Achtung Baby', because he is confident in his own, er… package. When asked is there was any penis envy within the group, The Edge replied: "No, I think we're all pretty confident in that department. I'm happy, yes."

The Edge, who is married to dancer-and-choreographer Morleigh Steinberg, also claims he is a keen belly dancer. He said: "She's shown me a few cool moves alright. But not in the belly-dancing department!” The couple - who married in 2002 - have two children together, a nine-year-old daughter, Sian Beatrice Echo, and a seven-year-old son, Levi. The Edge also has three daughters with his first wife Aislinn O'Sullivan.

Madonna is battling to stop release of naked pics
The pop superstar - who has instructed her legal team to stop a collection of private love letters and explicit images from being exposed - is said to be worried the assortment of items could harm her chances of permanently adopting her Malawi son David Banda. Madonna - who is set to be inspected by the head of Malawi's child welfare services to see if she can keep David - sent 17 notes and seven naked photographs of herself to her then-boyfriend James Albright in the early 90s.

The 48-year-old star, who is now married to film director Guy Ritchie, is said to be "devastated" about the items being released at such an important time.

The collection was recently sold to investment company Marquee Capital who are now hoping to make more than R1 430 603 (yes, over a million rand!) from auctioning off the items. Some of the photographs, which were taken by Madonna, feature her naked in a series of sexual poses. Madonna began dating her former bodyguard Albright in 1992 and the pair remained close until 1994. Madonna's lawyers insist selling the collection would be an invasion of the singer's privacy and a breach of her copyright.

Gwen Stefani agrees to cover up for Malaysian show
The singer, who is due to perform in Kuala Lumpur's Stadium Putra on August 21, won't wear any revealing costumes after Muslim groups branded her "indecent" and "obscene".

Mobile phone company Maxis Communications, who is sponsoring the show, said: "Gwen Stefani will abide by the Malaysian authorities' guidelines to ensure that her show will not be offensive to local sensitivities." Malaysia's Culture, Arts and Heritage Ministry officers are set to attend the concert to ensure the country's cultural ethics code is respected. Female artists must be covered from the top of their chests to their knees and can't wear clothes featuring offensive messages or images referring to sex or drugs. They are banned from shouting, hugging or kissing during their performance and must not throw anything into the audience.

Last year, a Malaysian music promoter was reportedly fined R22 576 because a Pussycat Dolls concert was deemed too racy.

Amy Winehouse to appear on the cover of US Vogue
The “Rehab” singer was chosen by the fashion bible's editor Anna Wintour to grace the cover after Wintour fell in love with Amy's album 'Back to Black'.

An insider told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "An order from Anna Wintour is like a royal command and the order was 'get me Amy.' Anna loved Amy's album so much that she just had to have her. But at the end of the day, it's not just about her music; it's about her rawness, her unique style and her outspokenness. She's very much a one-off - but incredibly talented with it." The pictures were taken by world-renowned photographer Bruce Weber and Amy will be the magazine's cover girl for the September issue, traditionally the best-selling copy of the year.

Meanwhile, Amy wants to open a beauty salon when she decides to take a break from music. The 23-year-old star has experience in the field, because her late grandmother taught her everything she knows. She said: "I'd love to have a beauty salon! My nan, God rest her soul, pretty much trained me and my brother. He'd give her a pedicure and I'd do her nails and her hair."
