Cape Town – Santana played his very first show in South Africa last night at the Grand Arena in Cape Town and it was truly one for the books.
His chilling melodic guitar playing together with the tightest band we’ve heard in a long time made Santana mesmerising from the moment he set foot on the stage.
Here are 10 pics that show some of the awesomeness that is Santana:
1) Santana literally just appeared out of nowhere on stage and started doing this... No grand entrance for this legend!
2) Then he continued doing this...
3) And this... so passionate!
4) Santana's band left us speechless... These two vocalists might just be the most talented on the planet!
5) Seriously! The. Most. Talented. Vocalists. Ever.
6) Needless to say, the drummer loved every minute of being on stage!
7) And like all bassists, he was the cool and quiet one, except for this moment where we caught him rocking out.
8) This guy behind the keys totally made us want to take up playing the piano again!
9) Doing what he does best!
10) And when Santana mentioned Nelson Mandela and how at home he feels in SA, our hearts melted...
