CapeTown - Singin' in the Rain, another critically acclaimed award-winning production direct from London's West End, will be produced and presented in South Africa by Pieter Toerien at the Artscape Opera House and the Teatro at Montecasino between December 2015 and March 2016.
The well-known musical made a big splash the moment it premiered in the United Kingdom. The show, recently played to sell out houses in Hong Kong after wowing audiences in New Zealand, the Philippines and Singapore, and now, South Africa!
This superb production will delight audiences in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
Set in 1927, Singin' in the Rain tells the story, made famous by Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds in the iconic 1952 MGM movie, of the first Hollywood musical, when the silver screen found its voice and left the silent movies and some of its stars behind.

Singin' in the Rain is on stage at the Artscape Opera House in Cape Town from 11 December 2015 to 10 January 2016.
Performances are Tuesdays to Fridays at 19:30, Saturdays at 14:30 and 19:30 and Sundays at 13:30 and 18:30. Tickets cost from R100 via Computicket.
The production transfers to the Teatro at Montecasino in the New Year, running from 15 January to 13 March 2016.
