1) Shimmy Beach Club’s New Year’s Eve bash

Glamour, style and world-class entertainment is guaranteed at Shimmy Beach Club’s glitzy New Year’s Eve extravaganza.

The line-up will include London’s hottest dance group, The Girly Show, international DJ’s Ella (UK) and Kayper (UK) as well as Shimmy resident DJ Gareth Kenward.

2) Electric Vines music festival

With an international act on board and some of SA’s hottest bands already confirmed, the Electric Vines live music festival promises to celebrate the New Year in style. The festival is taking place at the Arabella Wine Estate in Robertson Valley on Tuesday 30 December and Wednesday 31 December 2014.

Local bands that have been confirmed for the line-up include Just Jinjer, Prime Circle, Pascal & Pearce, Monark, Matthew Mole, Cath Grenfell, Goodluck, Jesse Clegg, Gangs of Ballet and Jeremy Loops. The international act that will be playing is dance/pop duo Sun City.

3) Ballito New Year’s Eve

Shap Shap Flavoured Cider and G&G Productions present the biggest, loudest and most lit-up New Year’s Eve party on Durban’s North Coast, featuring international guest electronic DJ duo GLOWINTHEDARK!

Taking inspiration from famous and mystical festivals from around the world like Life In Colour, Neon Xtreme, Neon Splash, Electric Forest and Electric Zoo, the evening promises a neon spectacle above and beyond anything ever created before. Dress up. Light up. Wear illuminating clothes and accessories and take part in one of the world’s greatest aerial shots.

4) Cape Town Calling

Following a perfect New Year’s Eve celebration last year, Cape Town is calling again. Party in style with the sexiest people, breath-taking views and world-class DJ’s for one unforgettable New Year’s Eve experience.

The line-up includes: Milkshake (5FM), Roger Goode (5FM), Hareal Salkow, Dean Fuel, Kyle Worde, Kyle Cassim, GOODLUCK, Mark Algranti, Garth B, Poppy (5FM) and Yaron.

5) Vic Falls Carnival

The Jameson Vic Falls Carnival will return to the spectacular Victoria Falls. The festival will feature SA’s own top electronic duo and headline act fresh off the Ibiza circuit, Goldfish, chart-toppers behind number 1 hits Pluto and Rafael, Beatenberg, and Zimbabwe’s iconic revolutionary Oliver "Tuku" Mtukudzi along with Winky D, Zambia’s Jason Le Roux and Namibia’s CU_Rage.

The three day New Year’s festival schedule:

29 December 2014 – Train party set on a beautiful colonial train takes attendees to a secret bush party under the African skies in this phenomenal national park. SOLD OUT
30 December 2014 – Festival bursts into neon hues with the world famous colour festival and the fun doesn’t stop there with after parties in four of Vic Fall’s most popular party venues.
