1. Cape Town Folk 'n Acoustic Music Festival 2014

The fifth installment of the Cape Town Folk n Acoustic Music Festival is taking place at Kirstenbosch this Sunday, 16 March. The evening is set to be an experience of the finest musical storytelling from the personal journeys of Arno Carstens, Laurie Levine, Josie Field, Tony Cox, Albert Frost, Natasha Meister , Gerald Clark, Guy Collins, Luna Paige, Inge Beckmann, Joshua Grierson, Manouche,, Beatenberg Jeremy Olivier, Mark Fransman and Michael Lowman. 2. Parklife Festival

If you’re a KT Tunstall fan, this one is for you! This festival is happening in Cape Town on Thursday 20 March and in Johannesburg on Friday 21 March. KT Tunstall will be playing at both shows whereas UK singer Frank Turner will only play in Johannesburg and US singer Donavon Frankenreiter only in Cape Town. 3. We Are One Colour Festival

Want to throw people with powder while dancing the day away? You can totally do it! This year, US DJ Felix Da Housecat will be headlining the event in both Cape Town on Friday 21 March and Johannesburg on 22 March. Get all the details here!

4. Sounds Fringe Festival

This festival is happening for the very first time this year with venues all within walking distance from each other. More than forty of Cape Town’s top musical talent is set to rock the Mother city from Thursday 27 March to Sunday 30 March from 12:00 to 22:00 across four days with more than 60 performances. 5. DJ in the Park

The first ever 12 hour DJ in the Park event will be happening on Saturday 12 April in Johannesburg. The hottest SA DJ’s will be showcased as part of the line-up and they include Lady Lea, Euphonik, Milkshake, DJ Fresh, LCNVL, Vin Deysel, Crazy White Boy and Roger Goode.
