Cape Town – Blues, beer and quite a few bearded men… this is the Table Mountain Blues Summit 2013.
Having never attended this blues festival which is now in its eight year, we didn’t have a clue what to expect, but boy oh boy were we surprised! We are officially crowning the Table Mountain Blues Summit the most chilled out festival in South Africa!
From babies and small kids to young adults and geriatrics, all age groups got their blues fix at the weekend.
Here are 6 pics that prove we had fun at this chilled festival:
1) The venue, Hillcrest Quarry, from above...I mean who wouldn't have fun in such a beautiful place?
2) From left to right: One alcoholic beverage tent, one stage and one undercover seating tent, what more do you need?
3) Gerald Clark, his band, Luna Paige and Dave Ferguson all on one stage! It. Was.The Best. Ever.
4) Rocking out to the Black Cat Bones...enough said!
5) Not only are they one of the best live bands we've seen this year, Crimson House Blues' frontman also proved that they're so much fun!
6) Watersports next to the camping area... totes awesome!
