Adele set to perform at Grammys

Los Angeles - Adele is to perform at the Grammy awards.

The Rolling in the Deep hitmaker plans to sing live at the US ceremony, where she has been nominated for six accolades, but is still very "fragile" after recently undergoing throat surgery and won't have much time to rehearse for the performance.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "She can't wait to perform but her throat is still very fragile and she doesn't want to harm her recovery.

"She should be fine by February 12 but she won't have much time for rehearsal, which isn't ideal."

All-clear

Adele - who has to rest her vocal cords after surgery for a haemorrhage - is still in Boston, Massachusetts where the operation took place, but said to be recovering well.

She recently revealed she was now "chilling out" until the doctors give her the all-clear and she can return to her home in the UK.

Writing on her blog, the 23-year-old star said: "Thank you for all your positive thoughts and get well wishes. I'm doing really well, on the mend, super-happy, relaxed and very positive with it all.

"The operation was a success and I'm just chilling out now until I get the all clear from my doctors."
